BARN CHARM TUESDAY

My surprise was.. some of the windows are not real..they are painted on.I loved the little stone building, I think they used to be called well houses a long time ago. Where the  water pump was located.
Below photo shows how large this whole barn was. Very well painted and cared for. Just amazed me at the artistry of painted on windows. The real windows are the smaller ones The large ones had painted on slats going across. The door below is real.. NONE of the windows are. The silo was all white.

Could not resist this photo, poor barn roof probably collapsed from weight of snow or some such thing. Everything was still in the barn all covered in snow. The outside looked in rather good shape.

FRIDAYS FENCES

How colorful can you get? I found these fences while searching for something entirely different.

Love the color choices they made..very different.

Imagine how many sets of skis it would take to make a whole fence!

Although these are very colorful I think I would rather have a nice old fashioned weathered
fence.
Made me wonder how long that fence had been there since it was so over
grown. I kinda had the feeling that it was held together by the weeds etc.

LOSING MY CONNECTION..

Posting here in case I am gone for quite awhile. I have had wonderful free wifi connections for over a year now and am very grateful for them. This connection may be coming to an end abruptly though, so just thought I would let blog readers know. I am without transportation and only occasionally get to a free wifi spot here in town.

Will post again when I can.
THANKS FOR VISITING
GOD BLESS YOU ALL..

BARN CHARM TUESDAY

It is falling apart now and abandoned .. MAYBE... there is the sign and who in
there right mind would care anything about that building.. very strange indeed.
Not sure who owns the property, there is no fence or gate or even a driveway.

This old barn is still standing inside the city limits of our town, not sure what is stored inside it now. The family who owned it is long gone, the property sold. I just noticed recently that the roof looks like it is sagging in the middle. This barn was the place where groups of kids would gather and make floats for the homecoming parades. Remember when they did that? Oh the hours of hay rides and fun we had in that old barn. It has not been kept up by the new owners, sad to see it this way.

MIRACLE CURE???

Lately I have been taking that combination of Cinnamon and honey.

I thought, why not it cannot hurt me. Looking over the information it seemed that it was a cure for just about every thing that ails a person. Well it didn't hurt and I think my throat really is a lot better because of it. The cinnamon kinda burned a little on the raw places but boy the next day.. SUCCESS!!  I give it big thumbs up!! I will keep it in mind for other the other things. Check out the information on it.. it seems to be a real eye-opener for me. How in the world it would help some things is amazing if it really does.

Now on to the best cure in the world.. here is something you might not know..
According to ehow.."Vicks Vapo Rub was created by a company originally called the Vick Family Remedies Company. It was part of a line of products. Its success first peaked in 1918 with the onset of the Spanish flu pandemic in the United States. While the company was a family business, it was eventually bought by Procter & Gamble in an effort to round out the company's product line."

Now many other people make their own version of this salve, but I think the original one is more powerful and the best. No one will convince me that it doesn't work because it really does. YES, putting it on the balls of your feet and covering them with socks before bedtime works too. Some think it is only a mind thing, but for me... it worked. I never slept so well.  I thanked the person who invented this stuff again and again this past week. I just don't know where I would be all these years without it. Anyone who opens a jar will be transported back to their childhood.. it's a smell that you just never forget.

The weather is turning warmer here this weekend.  Surely will help me I hope. I think I will find a spot to sit in the sun and let the warmth of it just soak my soul. It's been quite a while since we saw 75 here in my neck of the woods. Hope your weekend is wonderful!!
