Hi carol, I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving, in spite of losing your mom earlier this year. I read what you wrote on your WordPress blog, and I can relate to a lot of it, as we also used to have big gatherings. Many of my relatives are not around anymore, and losing my mom last winter was very hard. I just recently got her house sold and am nearing the end of all the estate stuff that I have been dealing with for almost a year. My sisters and Brother live near by, and I have my own family now, so that helps. Growing older sure is not an easy thing, but I guess that's just how it is. I hope you have a nice day today too.
Happy Thanksgiving and it sounds like the weather is going to be relatively pleasant. Kinda wonder whatever happened to Trucker Bob. It's been over a year since we last heard anything. Thanksgiving is a time to remember friends like Bob.
I miss big gatherings but I still have the kids and we still enjoy the holidays. I loved reading the WP blog about what it was like for you, Sis. xoxox
