MARCH CAME IN ROARING....

What is that old saying..Yes I agree March came in roaring like a lion the past two days or so. I can hear the wind howling so loudly tonight. We were so lucky here where I am. No threats of loss.  I sit at my computer and think about all the people who have had their lives altered because of the horrible storms and tornadoes that ripped across all our states and counties. How sad to see the destruction so complete that you hardly know what it is you are looking at. One minute you have your home and your life and the next you have nothing, My prayers are sent to those in need there May GOD comfort those who are in harm’s way and tomorrow in the aftermath.

I spent almost all of February sick with what most everyone else has. The urgent care has been busy with a virus that takes a long time to shake without some kind of help from an antibiotic. The endless coughing and sleepless nights really wore me out. I sure am careful when I go out now to stay away from people a lot, sure don't want that over again. There was
snow for us here, the winter is here for awhile. Mother nature is so confused.  We are on a roller coaster it seems. Makes me wonder what the Spring and Summer will be once it finally gets here. I have seen more green grass this winter than ever before. Kids missed out on sledding and  ice skating this year here and in other places nothing but one snow storm after another. Mixed up world for sure. Hope this short update finds you all well and safe.

2016 GONE...2017 ON IT'S WAY

SO miss me?? Seems I just have trouble coming and taking care of my tasks here on this blog. Big things happened for our family over Christmas. We found out my niece's baby is a GIRL. Something we all were thrilled about. She has a 5 yr old boy who will make a great big brother. They kept it a secret until Christmas morning. This is how they told us. A candy Bar!!They love their chocolate in this family!

Now HERE is the back story.... When my mother was in her last days my niece was pregnant with her little boy. My mother looked her dead in the eye and said.."A boy and a GIRL for you" and that is exactly what has happened. I do believe in divine knowledge and I think she was told what was to come. They have had TWO tests so far just to make sure it REALLY is a GIRL!! Both came out the same.. 👼
We all cannot wait until MAY when it is due and by surprise, MAY is when my mother's birthday was. We all are wondering..

YOU HAVE ANY IMPORTANT GOALS FOR 2017? These are some good ones..

I have a goal for 2017 AGAIN to try and keep up at least ONE entry for each MONTH.. Let myself down this year but time to try try again. I sat down and made a list of goals that are easy and I should be able to do this year, nothing complicated.
I will keep adding them as I go

Throw it away if you have not used it in a year.
Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
Make numbers on scale keep going DOWN and not UP.
If you take it out,put it back where it came from.
Everything is better without so much salt on it.
A little caffeine will not hurt me, but don't get carried
away.
Keep the food in my mouth and not on my clothes.
Vacuum the floors and dust ONCE a week.
Check for your keys BEFORE you leave and lock the door.

2017 is the year of the FIRE ROOSTER..
it comes every 60 years!!
Good luck to us all..

THANKSGIVING IS OVER ... HERE COMES CHRISTMAS!!..

What I have been doing is not much. What else can I say? The neighbors upstairs moved out and new ones moved in. Getting used to new ones again takes a toll on my sleep pattern for sure. So days turn into evening and they pass pretty fast in the daze I call sleep deprivation. The new tenants work different hours and are awake walking about in the night. Sure is time for using my ear plugs again. 😉 Hope it works.

Thanksgiving came and went. I made my own dinner and enjoyed every bite of it.
The rest of the family was out of town. The weather was gray and cold and rainy. It sure did not feel like any Thanksgiving I remembered. No snow either. Just blah..

I am very grateful though for my little apt and all that I have acquired over the years.
It has become my beachy home place this past year as I have added more and more items that call me to the ocean.

Even my Christmas tree this year is decorated with shells and lights. I love it so much I may keep it up all year round. 😀
