I added a photo of my summer barn here. There are some really nice photos of all kind of Charming Barns.
This barn belongs to my sister. I took a photo this summer of the vine that crept all over the side of it. I just love old barns..it always makes me wonder who built them and what they kept inside and how long it has been around. My Grandfather had a dairy farm in Tennessee and he took us out in the barn many times to help with the milking. I loved watching him work. My were those milk cans heavy when full. Ahhh the memories...

Gorgeous photo! It's a nice touch of color in the midst of the cold of winter.
This photo just captures a summer day! My childhood home was across the highway from a dairy barn. I used to ride on the tractor to "bring the cows in" for milking in the afternoons. I can still remember the smell of the inside of that dairy barn!
Thanks for the memories - I'm visiting from Barn Charm.
The above comment was mind - hit the wrong key and posted before leaving my info!
Okay, let's try this again - this photo captures a summer day! I lived across the highway from a dairy barn when I was growing up, and used to ride on the tractor to "bring the cows" in for milking.
Thanks for the memories!
Visiting from Barn Charm.
beautiful...love the light and shadows...great colors!
I LOVE old barns, I used to explore the dusty cobwebbed places. Always strange metal old fashioned treasures like hinges and knobs..
I would sneak into neighbor's barns when it would start to rain
Oh, I'm so glad you joined in on Barn Charm! This is such a fantastic photo!!! The light shining in speckles on the vine...so lovely...and, like you, I love old barns!!! I guess because my grandfather had an old barn out in back of his house...he wasn't on a farm...in the middle of town....why there was an old barn there, I don't know. I wish I had a picture of it. There were honeysuckle vines growing on his. We used to pull out the stems and suck off the nectar...yummy!
It really is a beautiful photo. They do make you wonder what stories they have to tell.
Welcome to Barn Charm!
Beautiful capture! I love the vine & the shadow play
Thank you so much for joining in & linking up to this week's Barn Charm =)
love it, I like barns too. Seems to ground us to our past.
There's something so nice about old barns don't you think? I think barns in the summer is are classic photographic subjects that are truly timeless.
Nice to see this touch of summer. You got a nice shot here!
Nice shot!
I was looking at the vine in the photo below...looks like Virginia creeper.
Like these shots...both Virginia creeper and poison ivy get just beautiful in the fall.
Beautiful shot.
