RECENT PHOTOS

I haven't been taking a lot of photos lately. The recent heat wave has kept me pretty much in cool places. Today the air was less humid and a lot cooler. I snapped this
picture of some guys working in the heat of the day. Sure was glad I wasn't doing their job. It looks hazy and it really was. They were working frantically to get that side of the roof done while it was still in the shade. Takes talent to walk on a roof..I sure wouldn't do it for a living. The next photo was taken today..two BLOCKS from my apartment.
We are three blocks from downtown. A very busy wide street runs right in front of
the home where this deer keeps showing up.She takes big chances crossing it, and always seems to be alone. The yard is lush with bushes and I think they may just be feeding that doe something really tasty to keep it coming back over and over again. This is the third time I have seen it there in the last two weeks. The neighbors watch for it and the kids have to be so quiet when it shows up to eat. This summer has been a bad one for food and water for critters. Just glad it is NOT a skunk!!

HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT COOL WEEKEND!!!

We've got a cool break tonight, even have the windows open. Too bad it won't last.

I'm so glad you could get out a bit and take some pictures. I always am glad for my chances to do this. We are getting out of town as of Sunday to a mountain cabin that has been really nice in the past. I hope to take plenty of pictures and enjoy the more moderate weather. Bless you my friend.

Still hot here. Right now at 9:30 PM it is 90 degrees real temp. I am so longing for a break in the temps.

The pics are great Sis. I am glad you were able to get out a bit.

Cooled off here. Feels really good for a change, though I usually don't mind the heat. That was pretty excessive though. Wouldn't go up that high even if it wasn't a roof. Not this girl. Love the pictures.

The heat has broken a little here in southeastern Michigan. A couple of rumbles of thunder too here this morning. Wonder what the weather's like in Grand Rapids since that's where our son is supposed to be golfing today.

We are finally enjoying a long stretch of cooler weather (mid 70′s to 80′s). But here, it’s the humidity that really gets to everyone. Yuck! Have you thought about running through a sprinkler yet? I have, had it out one evening and my youngest decided it felt good so he stripped and ran through it! I don’t think that I have ever laughed so hard. I joined him, WITH my shorts on.
